The Human Code Brings Regenerative Medicine Education To Dubai, With Nova Clinic As Clinical Partner

The Human Code is advancing physician education in Dubai through clinical immersion, international expertise, and practical training.
A physician can spend years reading about advanced therapeutics and longevity diagnostics and still never see them used well in practice. The science has moved quickly, and training needs to keep pace. For doctors who want to bring regenerative and longevity medicine to their patients, the hardest part is rarely access to information. It is learning how an experienced clinician thinks: who is a good candidate, what the protocol looks like, where the limits are, and what happens after treatment.
The Human Code (THC) was built to move physician training forward. Founded on the belief that no patient should be defined by their symptoms alone, THC teaches physicians to look at the whole person: medical history, genetics, lifestyle and goals. In September 2026, it brought that approach to Dubai, with Nova Clinic, a leading regenerative medicine clinic in the city, as its clinical partner.
The Human Code Puts The Patient And Physician Journey At The Centre
THC designs its programmes around what a doctor actually needs to change the way they practise. The journey starts with expert teaching, moves into the clinic, and continues as part of a growing professional community.
Every stage is led by practising clinicians. Physicians learn from doctors who treat patients every week, see how decisions are made on real cases, and leave ready to apply what they have learned safely and responsibly.
"Regenerative medicine is moving fast, and physicians need more than a presentation. They need to see it done, ask questions, and leave knowing how to apply it safely with their own patients," said Dr. Marina Cordeiro, co-founder and lead physician at The Human Code.
Inside The Human Code's September 2026 Immersion
From 13 to 20 September, physicians travelled to Dubai for THC's immersion programme at the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah. The cohort was made up entirely of international doctors, a clear sign of THC's reach as a global education platform.
The week opened with teaching from an international faculty spanning regenerative medicine, neuroscience, women's health and hormonal medicine, metabolic medicine, gastrointestinal health and healthy ageing. Each specialty brought a different lens to the same question: how to assess and treat a patient as a whole.
The cohort also travelled to Abu Dhabi to visit M42 facilities and the Abu Dhabi Biobank, seeing first hand the infrastructure behind precision and genomic medicine in the UAE.
Back in Dubai, the doctors stepped into practice. They visited Nova Clinic's current branches and its upcoming locations, following the patient journey from first consultation and assessment through to treatment rooms, protocols and follow up. With Nova leading regenerative medicine in Dubai and expanding across major luxury wellness hospitality destinations, the doctors also saw how clinical care connects with a complete and seamless patient experience.
The programme was led by THC co-founder and lead physician Dr. Marina Cordeiro and CEO Rafael Azambuja. Nova Clinic was represented by Rob Slim, who leads growth and strategy at the clinic and works with regenerative medicine doctors and longevity clinics.
"Our aim is to give physicians from around the world a clear path from learning to practice. Seeing regenerative medicine delivered in a working clinic shows our doctors the standards they will be expected to meet, and gives them the confidence to meet them," said Rafael Azambuja, CEO of The Human Code.
Why The Human Code Found Its Home In Dubai

THC chose Dubai as its home because the city has become a global capital for healthcare and medical innovation, and a natural home for regenerative medicine. In June 2026, Dubai established the Dubai Longevity Authority (DLA) under Law No. 17 of 2026. It is the world's first dedicated regulator for the longevity, wellness and advanced health sector, created to give the field regulatory clarity and attract talent, research and investment.
For an international physician, that makes Dubai a rare place to learn. Longevity and regenerative medicine are part of the city's healthcare agenda, backed by regulation, investment and strong patient demand. Training here means learning inside a system that is actively building this field.
"At Nova, we are building regenerative medicine into a complete patient journey, from the clinic through to leading wellness hospitality. Opening our clinics to doctors from around the world shows what responsible regenerative care looks like day to day, and why Dubai is the right place to lead this field," said Rob Slim of Nova Clinic.
This is why THC is building more than a training programme. It is creating an ecosystem where talented international and regional doctors can learn, practise and serve patients in regenerative and longevity medicine, with Dubai at its centre.
Building A More Responsible Future For Regenerative Medicine
Regenerative and longevity medicine covers a wide range of interventions, and they differ considerably in evidence base, established uses and regulatory status. As interest grows, physicians need to assess new therapies carefully rather than adopt them automatically.
This is where the physician journey matters most. A doctor who has learned from specialists, seen treatments delivered in a working clinic and stayed connected to a community of peers is better placed to ask the right questions, read evidence critically and choose what is right for each patient.
Patients feel the difference. A well trained physician can explain treatment options clearly, recognise clinical limitations and guide people through complex healthcare decisions with confidence.

As Dubai establishes itself as a global capital for longevity and regenerative medicine, The Human Code and Nova Clinic share a clear view: progress in medicine depends not only on what physicians know, but on how responsibly they put that knowledge into practice.
