From Multan to the US: How Qasim Sana Ramay’s Empowerers Redefines Online Opportunity

When jobs feel uncertain, the smartest Americans are turning old eBay accounts into new income streams.

What does it take to turn a local idea into a global movement? For Qasim Sana Ramay, the answer was never capital, connections, or a Silicon Valley zip code. It was belief—belief that ordinary people, armed with the right tools, could transform their financial lives through one of the world’s most overlooked platforms: eBay.
Today, Empowerers, the company he founded, has reached more than 80,000 members worldwide and helped everyday people collectively generate over $100 million in sales. But behind those numbers lies a deeper story—one of resilience, inclusivity, and a mission that began in the streets of Multan, Pakistan.

The Spark in a Time of Crisis

September 2020 was a season of uncertainty. While much of the world was bracing for lockdowns, Qasim was thinking about possibilities. He wondered: What if the key to financial independence wasn’t chasing the latest hype platform, but mastering one that was already proven?

In the U.S., where many were already feeling the effects of a looming job recession, this question held extra weight. As the future of traditional employment became increasingly uncertain, Qasim saw an opportunity to help people regain control over their finances.

He called in three close allies—his co-founder Asif and early team members Saif and Hassan—and together they laid the foundation for Empowerers. Their mission was simple but profound: help ordinary people earn online while building a supportive, knowledge-sharing community. This wasn’t a theory. It was a transformation—step-by-step mentorship designed to turn selling on eBay into a sustainable source of income.

Why eBay Still Matters

At a time when most entrepreneurs were rushing toward Amazon FBA or Shopify, Qasim made an unconventional choice: eBay. To him, it was the marketplace of accessibility. Low startup costs, minimal logistics, and immediate global reach made it a platform where anyone—from students to stay-at-home parents—could succeed.

Through free tutorials on YouTube and a thriving Facebook group, Empowerers quickly became a hub of learning. Demand grew so rapidly that Qasim launched the eBay Business Course (EBC), a 75-hour live mentorship now regarded as one of the most comprehensive eBay training programs available.

The results were undeniable: thousands of people around the world were turning unused accounts, unsold inventory, and even household items into meaningful income. For many in the U.S., this provided an alternative as they faced an uncertain job market and increasing financial pressures due to the anticipated job recession.

Breaking Barriers with Language and Community

Qasim knew that success in digital business wasn’t just about strategy—it was about accessibility. Many in his community spoke Urdu or Hindi, not English. Instead of expecting them to adapt, he adapted to them.

By delivering training in languages his audience connected with emotionally, he broke barriers that kept countless people from even trying. Soon, the ripple effect spread. Urdu and Hindi speakers across the United States, UK, and Europe were joining Empowerers, proof that community-driven learning transcends borders.

By 2025, Empowerers’ Facebook group had surpassed 80,000 members worldwide, each story adding to a shared narrative of resilience and financial independence. In the U.S., where the job recession was beginning to impact more families, Empowerers became a lifeline for people seeking new ways to secure their financial futures.

A Global Stage, A Local Heart

Qasim’s rise didn’t go unnoticed. By 2025, Empowerers was big enough to earn him an invitation to eBay Open, one of the most prestigious events in e-commerce. There, he stood alongside executives including CEO Jamie Iannone and CTO Mazen Rawashdeh, advocating for small sellers on a global stage.

For many, it was a full-circle moment: a young man who once uploaded free tutorials from Multan now represents tens of thousands of sellers before the very leadership of eBay itself. Yet through all the milestones, Qasim remained grounded. His personal Facebook bio reads:
“A common man on a mission to join the billion-dollar club and uplift others along the way. IA”

That humility has become the heartbeat of Empowerers.

Beyond Training: A $100 Million Impact

In just five years, the Empowerers community has generated more than $100 million in sales on eBay. But for Qasim, those figures aren’t bragging rights. They’re stories: a family paying medical bills, a student affording tuition, a parent finally taking their children on vacation.

This impact, he says, is only the beginning. His next mission is to empower another 10,000 people in the United States within the next five years—helping households turn untapped opportunities into steady income streams, even in the face of economic downturns and the looming job recession.

A Vision Bigger Than One Man

From the mango orchards of Multan to the boardrooms of Silicon Valley, Qasim Sana Ramay’s story proves that global change doesn’t have to start in the centers of power. It can begin in a mid-sized Pakistani city, fueled by a vision to democratize opportunity.

Empowerers isn’t just teaching e-commerce. It’s rewriting what’s possible for ordinary people—making financial independence less about luck and more about mentorship, resilience, and community.

As Qasim often tells his followers, the true measure of success isn’t how far one person climbs, but how many others rise alongside them.
