After the birth of her second son, Shannon made a pivotal decision to leave the corporate world to focus on raising her children. However, her desire to create and innovate soon led her down an entirely new path.
Shannon took a leap into entrepreneurship, inventing a product, securing three patents, and launching a business from the ground up. Her entrepreneurial journey combined perseverance and creative marketing strategies, which resulted in features on major platforms like The Howard Stern Show, Playboy Radio, Chelsea Lately, and The Doctors. While her business was ultimately affected by the challenges of 2020, this period marked a significant point in Shannon’s life and career.
As she navigated the changes brought on by the pandemic, Shannon re-entered the corporate world. Despite facing rejections for roles she was overqualified for, she realized that a different calling awaited her. After trying various fields such as real estate, medspa sales, and legal recruiting, Shannon discovered that true fulfillment for her lay in helping people heal and grow on a deeper level.
In 2018, Shannon found Reiki, a discovery that would change her life. Her teacher’s words, “Reiki calls you when the time is right,” resonated with Shannon, signaling the beginning of her transformative healing journey. This exploration of Reiki opened the door to other healing modalities, including Pure Bioenergy Healing, Sound Healing Therapy, Breathwork Facilitation, Meditation Facilitation, Somatic Energy Healing (currently studying under Dr. John Amaral), and Death Doula Care. Each modality plays a crucial role in her holistic approach to supporting individuals on their healing path.
Shannon’s personal journey of overcoming adversity, including childhood challenges and trauma, serves as the foundation for her work. It is from this place of resilience and authenticity that Shannon offers a compassionate approach to healing.
