How Kam Hossieny Built Convert Lane Into One of the Top CRO Agencies in Ecommerce

Kam Hossieny built Convert Lane around a simple idea: most ecommerce brands do not need more traffic to grow. They need to convert more of the traffic they already have.
The Moment That Changed Everything
Before founding Convert Lane, Kam spent four years at Deloitte as a management consultant, working across strategy, data, and complex business problems. The experience gave him a strong analytical foundation, but over time he wanted greater ownership over the outcome.
“I was helping businesses make important decisions, but I was never the one living with the result. Eventually, I wanted to know if I could actually build something myself.”
Kam left Deloitte and moved into ecommerce, building a brand from the ground up and generating more than $6 million in revenue in under two years. Running his own company changed the way he thought about growth because every decision now had a direct impact on his bottom line.
That was when he began seeing the problem more clearly. Brands were spending heavily to drive traffic, but far less attention was being paid to what happened after visitors landed. Better messaging, stronger product pages, more trust, and a smoother buying experience could often improve performance without increasing ad spend.
“The biggest wins were not always coming from buying more traffic. They came from making the traffic we already had more valuable.”

Building Convert Lane
When Kam launched Convert Lane, he made a deliberate decision not to build another full-service marketing agency. Instead, he focused the company entirely on conversion rate optimization. The goal was simple: understand why customers do not buy, identify friction across the shopping journey, and test changes that improve conversion and revenue.
Kam believed specialization would create an edge. “Most agencies offer CRO alongside a long list of other services. We made it the entire business so our team could become exceptionally good at one thing: turning more visitors into customers.”
Convert Lane has since grown to a team of 12 and worked with more than 75 seven- and eight-figure ecommerce brands. The agency has conducted over 2,000 A/B tests, built more than 400 landing pages, and helped generate more than $100 million in incremental revenue through CRO.
A System, Not a Guessing Game
Every engagement begins with a full analysis of the ecommerce funnel. The team reviews the customer journey from first click to checkout, identifies where customers are dropping off, and prioritizes the opportunities with the greatest potential revenue impact.
From there, Convert Lane builds and tests improvements across landing pages, product pages, messaging, offers, trust signals, mobile experiences, and checkout flows. The goal is to validate every major change through real customer behavior rather than opinion.
As Kam explains, “We can have a strong hypothesis, but the customer ultimately decides what works. We build it, test it against real traffic, and measure what actually improves performance.”
The Results Speak for Themselves
Convert Lane doesn't just optimize funnels. They turn them into conversion machines. Across brands like IGK Hair, Raan, Medterra, Happy Aging, Rev Gum, Zivo Life, Drink Miils, and Try Nokt, the team has consistently delivered above average conversion lifts. Different industries. Different products. Same result — more revenue from the same traffic.
Kam believes every brand has untapped revenue inside its funnel. “Visitors tend to drop off at predictable points for predictable reasons. We find those points, test solutions, and use each result to make the next test smarter. What starts as a 10% lift can grow into a 30% to 40% improvement over time.”
The Future of Ecommerce Growth Is Conversion
Kam believes ecommerce is moving toward a greater focus on efficiency. Acquisition is becoming more expensive, margins are under more pressure, and simply increasing ad spend is no longer enough. “The brands that win will not necessarily be the ones spending the most on advertising. They will be the ones getting the most value from every visitor they already paid to acquire.”
For brands already investing heavily in traffic, Kam believes the next question should be what happens after the click. “Most brands are losing revenue somewhere between the landing page and checkout without realizing it. Our job is to find where that is happening, fix it, and prove the impact through data.”
