The Global Excellence Conclave 2025, Thailand Chapter, marked a defining milestone as the sixth chapter of the Asia Education Conclave expanded into a broader global movement celebrating excellence across education, business, youth leadership, and societal impact.
Hosted at Hotel Amari, Bangkok, Thailand, the conclave reflected the continued evolution of a prestigious platform that has always carried an international outlook. While rooted in Asia by name, the Asia Education Conclave has consistently brought together global voices, institutions, and leaders. The emergence of the Global Excellence Conclave (GEC) represents a natural progression in vision and scope, bringing education, enterprise, leadership, and innovation together under a unified global framework that recognises achievement with depth, credibility, and purpose.
This year’s conclave brought together over 200 participants and 100+ awardees from Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, China, Singapore, Uzbekistan, the United States, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and Nigeria. The wide spectrum of participation reinforced GEC’s commitment to celebrating excellence that transcends geography, discipline, and sector.

A defining feature of GEC 2025 was its expanded recognition architecture. Moving beyond education alone, the platform now encompasses the Global Education Awards, Global Business Awards, and Global Young Icon Awards, collectively honouring educators and institutions, business leaders and entrepreneurs, as well as emerging young achievers whose ideas and initiatives are shaping the future. Together, these recognitions underscore GEC’s belief that excellence is most meaningful when it creates sustained, real-world impact across industries.
Guiding the conclave’s vision and discourse was its Founder Chairman, Prof. Dr. Sanjib Chakraborty, whose keynote address framed the day’s conversations around leadership, purpose, and global responsibility. His address reflected on the evolving meaning of excellence and the role of recognition platforms in nurturing leaders who contribute with integrity, intent, and long-term influence.
The conclave was further enriched by the presence of distinguished Guests of Honour, including Dr. Maurice Dimmock (UK), Dr. Margaret Davitt Maughan (USA), Dr. Karl Meneghella (Australia), Dr. Janat Clemis (Canada), Dr. Hugh O’Connell (Thailand), and Dr. Jenny Hale (Thailand). Representing diverse geographies and domains of expertise, their presence added stature, insight, and global perspective to the proceedings.
One of the most prestigious highlights of GEC 2025 was the Honorary Doctorate – Doctor of Excellence (Honoris Causa) conferment, conducted in academic association with East Bridge University, Paris. Bestowed upon select achievers following a structured evaluation process, the recognition formally conferred the title “Dr.” upon honourees whose sustained contributions and leadership influence exemplify the highest standards of professional and academic excellence.
Beyond recognition, GEC 2025 placed strong emphasis on intellectual exchange through two high-impact panel discussions. The first panel, “The Quality Imperative: Integrating Academic Rigor and Corporate Excellence for Sustainable Growth,” sponsored by the International Education Accreditation Council (IEAC), examined how quality assurance, accreditation frameworks, and corporate alignment can drive sustainable institutional and organisational success. The second panel, “Empowering Diverse Learners: Approaches for Achieving Equitable Educational Outcomes,” sponsored by Asia Education Digest, focused on inclusion, learner diversity, and practical strategies for building equitable, student-centred learning environments.
These discussions featured an eminent panel comprising Prof. Joy Chowdhury (India), Dr. Rimajon Sotlikova (Uzbekistan), Dr. Angkana Kamnoedthon (Thailand), alongside the Guests of Honour, positioning the conclave as both a celebration of achievement and a forum for forward-looking global thought leadership.
Supported by a strong ecosystem of partners, including East Bridge University, Paris; Asian College of Teachers; International Education Accreditation Council; Asia Education Digest; East Bridge Training, Dubai; and Knitting Wishes, the Global Excellence Conclave 2025 stood as a globally aligned movement that celebrates excellence with depth, fosters cross-border collaboration, and builds a lasting legacy of impact.
