At nine, she began her entrepreneurial journey, and by twelve, she had launched her own jewelry business using sea glass collected from Kauaʻi’s shores. During the COVID pandemic, she created a food pantry and helped raise more than $35,000 for families in need. This experience demonstrated that even small actions rooted in compassion can create meaningful impact. This commitment has fueled her next dream: creating a sustainable flower farm on Kauaʻi. The farm would grow plumeria, pua kenikeni, ti leaf, song of India, stephanotis, gardenia, tuberose, and pikake. This project would provide locally grown flowers for handcrafted lei, reduce environmental impact, and support the local community.
Emilia plans to transform a gifted half-acre of land into this sustainable farm. The farm will preserve the tradition of lei making and provide a space that welcomes both visitors and community members with authentic aloha.

Emilia’s work extends beyond commerce. She stays motivated by her deep connection to the land, culture, and community. Whether creating lei, performing fire dance, or expressing creativity through art, she is reminded that every action carries purpose.
