Capgemini Strengthens Leadership Team to Accelerate Growth in Americas and Financial Services

PARIS — Capgemini, a global leader in consulting and technology services, has announced significant leadership appointments aimed at bolstering its strategic business units and driving growth across key sectors. Effective November 1, 2024, Anirban Bose has been appointed CEO of the Americas Strategic Business Unit, succeeding Jim Bailey. Concurrently, Kartik Ramakrishnan has been named CEO of the Financial Services Strategic Business Unit.

These appointments are part of Capgemini’s broader strategy to enhance its market position and align its organizational structure with evolving client needs and market dynamics. Both Bose and Ramakrishnan bring extensive experience and are expected to lead their respective units toward achieving ambitious business objectives.

Anirban Bose, who has been with Capgemini since 2007, previously led the Financial Services Strategic Business Unit and served as a member of the Group Executive Board since 2018. His tenure included overseeing the Asia Pacific Strategic Business Unit and leading the Banking and Capital Markets Business Unit. Bose holds a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago. 

Kartik Ramakrishnan, appointed as CEO of the Financial Services Strategic Business Unit, has over 25 years of experience in the banking and payments industry. He previously served as Deputy CEO of the same unit and led Capgemini’s Banking and Capital Markets business. Ramakrishnan has been a member of the Group Executive Committee since 2023. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology and a master’s degree from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. 

In addition to these appointments, Capgemini announced that Jerome Simeon will take on the role of Chief Revenue Officer, and Franck Greverie will become Chief Technology Officer, both effective January 1, 2025. These changes are designed to bolster Capgemini’s focus on growth and reinforce its position as a leading business and technology partner for clients. These strategic leadership changes reflect Capgemini’s commitment to innovation and client-centric growth, positioning the company to effectively navigate the evolving landscape of the digital economy.
