“I love all the backstage, ActorsAccess, CastingNetwork sites, but there are still so many other things to learn about,” she says, emphasizing the importance of continuous improvement in a highly competitive environment.
For Kimberley, the most rewarding aspect of being creative is the challenge of truly embodying a character. She finds immense satisfaction in delving deep into a role and making the dialogue feel authentic and natural. This sense of immersion in the scene is what excites her most about acting, rather than the final product. Kimberley admits that while she does not particularly enjoy watching her finished performances, she views them as tools for self-improvement, always striving for perfection.
“I like that much more than seeing my work. In fact, I don’t really care about looking at the final film work, but mostly it is a tool to make corrections and see things that can be improved upon, as we always want just one more take!” she shares.
